2SSR 99.7fm Is The Local Community Radio Station For The Sutherland Shire Area; “The Sound Of The Sutherland Shire”. 2SSR is an integral component in the fabric of the community we service. We carry the responsibility for the provision of information and entertainment which in itself charges us with the task of staying ‘current’, responding to changing needs and to exploring all possibilities for improvement. “As we are a community based organization, we receive a small amount of funding from the government, but we could not possibly continue to provide the current level of service to the community, without the assistance of volunteers and sponsorship from the business community.”
