Real Oldies 97.9 The WREN is an 50s to early 80s Oldies radio station licensed by the FCC to operate on 97.9 MHz in Charlottesville, VA. It is owned by Genesis Communications, Inc. a non-profit corporation registered with the State Corporation Commission (SCC) in Virginia. We are registered with the IRS as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are located at 394 Hillsdale Dr. in the Seminole Square Shopping Center in the heart of Charlottesviles primary business district.
